CNC Machinist – Setter/Operator (Days, £30k-£34k)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a long‑standing steel roll‑forming company in Oldbury. The role is days‑based, Monday to Friday, offering a stable schedule and the chance to develop new programming and grinding skills.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes, milling machines and grinders in a busy production environment.
• Assist with the manufacturing of steel rolls and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Follow training programmes on CNC programming, ball grinding and milling.
• Maintain high quality standards and adhere to health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role, working on lathes and mills.
• Willingness to work days‑based hours (Mon‑Thu 7am‑4pm, Fri 7:30am‑12:30pm).
• Commitment to upskill through provided training and qualifications.
