CNC Machinist (Turner) – Days Based – £38k-£39k

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with turning expertise to join a well‑established manufacturing company on a permanent basis. The role is days‑based, offering a stable schedule and the chance to work on medium‑heavy components using state‑of‑the‑art equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and program CNC turning and vertical boring machines.
• Interpret customer drawings and specifications to produce accurate workpieces.
• Maintain high quality standards and ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet delivery targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, particularly with turning operations.
• Familiarity with Fanuc control systems on vertical boring machines/lathes.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to a permanent, full‑time role.
