CNC Machinist (Turner) – £38k-£40k + Overtime

About the role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist (Turner) to join a well‑established manufacturer in Rotherham. You will work within a small Tool Room team, supporting production of precision components for specialist industries.
Key responsibilities
- Program, set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision tooling.
- Manufacture rolls from raw billet through to finished product, including inspection and quality checks.
- Create and amend CNC programs and produce 2D CAD drawings.
- Collaborate closely with the Rolling Production Manager to ensure smooth workflow.
Required profile
- Proven experience setting up and operating CNC lathes.
- Ability to edit, and preferably create, CNC programs (Mazatrol experience is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
