CNC Machinist – Turning Operator

About the role

We are expanding our manufacturing team and need a reliable CNC Machinist to produce precision components on our CNC lathes. The role involves operating, setting up and, where possible, programming machines to meet daily production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture precision components to CAD drawings.
• Set, operate and (ideally) program CNC lathes using Fanuc controls.
• Run multiple machines during peak periods to meet output goals.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain tooling and keep accurate program records.
• Suggest improvements to machining methods and programs.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating CNC lathes.
• Apprentice‑trained (preferred).
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
• CAD/CAM experience is advantageous.
