CNC Miller Setter / Operator – 5 Axis

About the role

Our client near Camberley is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to work on their metal‑milling production line. The role focuses on 5‑axis machining, requiring set‑up and operation of a range of CNC milling machines to meet drawing and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate 5‑axis CNC milling machines according to technical drawings.
• Operate Mazak, Matsuura and Dugard VMC machines safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machining processes and make adjustments to maintain quality standards.
• Record production data and report any issues to the supervisory team.
• Work the defined schedule: Monday‑Thursday 7:30‑12:30 (30 min lunch) and Friday 7:30‑12:30 (no lunch), totaling a 39‑hour week.

Required profile

• Proven experience with 5‑axis CNC milling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and customer requirements.
• Previous experience in the aerospace sector is preferred.
• Willingness to work the specified hours and undertake overtime when required.
