About the role
Pertemps are partnering with an established manufacturing business in Alton to recruit an experienced CNC Setter and Operator. The successful candidate will join a small, growing team and contribute to daily production using CNC equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate two CNC machines, primarily lathes.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings.
- Perform de‑burring, manual turning and milling tasks.
Required profile
- Proven experience in setting and operating CNC machines.
- TIG welding experience is advantageous.
- Hard‑working, reliable and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to work effectively within a small manufacturing team.

What we offer
- Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
- £14 per hour, rising to £14.50 after three months.
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service.
