CNC Operator – Night Shift

About the role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join a leading international design and manufacturing organisation on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The position is a night‑shift role, working Monday to Thursday from 19:00 to 07:00, offering 46 hours per week in a high‑volume production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, operate and monitor a variety of CNC machines to produce high‑quality components.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and translate them into efficient CNC programs.
- Maintain precision tolerances across a range of materials.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and on‑time delivery.
- Support and mentor less experienced team members where required.
Required profile
- Proven experience in CNC machining and machine setting.
- Ability to work night shifts and adhere to a strict schedule.
- Strong understanding of high‑precision part manufacturing.
- Experience in a high‑volume production setting is advantageous.
