CNC Operator – Training on Programming (Up to £24/hr)

About the role

We are seeking a CNC Operator who is eager to develop programming skills while working on high‑precision components for the Defence, Nuclear, Marine and Oil sectors. The position offers a supportive, family‑run engineering environment with extensive overtime and state‑of‑the‑art machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC machines, including the new MAZAK VTC530C.
• Manufacture precision components for demanding industries.
• Participate in internal and external training on a variety of machines and software.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Required profile

• Apprenticeship‑trained or at least 1 year of machining experience.
• Background in CNC turning, milling or similar operations.
• Willingness to learn new programmes and technologies.
