CNC Programmer / Production Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer / Production Engineer to join our precision engineering team in Cirencester. You will develop and optimise machining programmes for complex components and support products from concept through to production.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise CNC machining programmes using industry‑standard CAM software.
• Support manufacturing and engineering activities for new and existing products.
• Produce machining solutions for high‑complexity, precision‑engineered components.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve efficiency, quality and productivity.
• Participate in process development and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and operational standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of CNC programming experience using CAM software.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining principles and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret technical engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Competent IT and systems skills.
