CNC Programmer – £16.65/hr Full‑time in Folkestone

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well‑established manufacturing team in Folkestone. The role is full‑time, paid at £16.65 per hour, and requires your own transport to the site. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will support production by programming CNC machinery and ensuring high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Program CNC machinery to meet production schedules and business requirements.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to achieve daily production targets.
• Assist with machine setting activities as needed.
• Ensure all finished work complies with company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and policies.
• Contribute to the smooth operation of the manufacturing department.

Required profile

• Proven experience with CNC systems and programming.
• Good computer literacy, including operation of touch‑screen machine interfaces.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Flexible, hands‑on approach with willingness to support machine setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Understanding of health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
