CNC Programmer/Setter – Hi‑Tech & Automotive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter to join a precision manufacturing company that supplies high‑tech and automotive sectors, as well as healthcare laboratory equipment. The role is based in Harston, East Anglia, and offers a full‑time, on‑site position with competitive hourly pay.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and translate them into CNC programs.
• Set up, operate and monitor a range of CNC machines, including 5‑axis equipment for complex geometries.
• Manage the production process from start to finish, ensuring high quality and tight tolerances.
• Work overtime as required, including occasional weekends, to meet delivery targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in CNC programming and machine setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Background in engineering or a related technical field.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities.
