CNC Setter Operator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to join a manufacturing team in Hailsham. You will work on small‑batch projects using the latest CNC machining techniques, supported by CAD/CAM and offline programming facilities. The role offers a dynamic shift pattern and the chance to develop specialist skills on Fanuc‑controlled equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines for low‑tolerance components.
• Work primarily with Fanuc controls to produce precision parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings and translate them into machine programs.
• Perform quality checks on finished work and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to engineering.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator on milling machines.
• Ability to work the Monday‑to‑Thursday 15:00‑01:30 shift pattern.
• Commitment to health and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
