CNC Table Saw / Band Saw Operator – Glasgow

About the role

We are seeking a CNC Table Saw / Band Saw Operator to join our client’s manufacturing team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will operate CNC‑controlled saws to cut wood blanks to precise dimensions, supporting daily production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC table saws and band saws safely and efficiently.
• Measure, mark and cut boards and blanks to required sizes.
• Handle and move wood materials following manual‑handling best practices.
• Perform quality checks on cut pieces and record any discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hazard‑free work area.
• Assist with general production and warehouse tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating a table saw, band saw or similar woodworking machinery.
• Familiarity with wood, boards or similar materials.
• Ability to measure accurately and follow technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a reliable, hardworking attitude.
• Team‑oriented mindset and ability to follow health‑and‑safety instructions.
