CNC Turner – 4-Day Week, £34k-£39k + Overtime

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a fast‑growing manufacturing firm in Chard. The role offers a days‑based schedule with the option of a four‑day week and generous overtime opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC turning machines, including sliding‑head and fixed‑head lathes.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometres and CMMs to verify component specifications.
• Adapt to flexible shift patterns, choosing between a four‑day or five‑day week.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner.
• Hands‑on programming ability with Mazatrol or Fanuc controls.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a manufacturing environment.
