CNC Turner – Hurco Machines (4‑day week)

About the role

Our client, a well‑established precision engineering company based in Warrington, Cheshire, is looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join their skilled machining team. The role involves setting up and operating Hurco CNC lathes to produce high‑precision components for short and medium batch runs.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes using Hurco machines.
• Manufacture precision components to fine tolerances.
• Produce short and medium batch work in a variety of materials.
• Monitor product quality using inspection equipment.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and workmanship.
• Progress work efficiently to meet productivity targets.
• Work both independently and as part of the machining team.

Required profile

• Experience operating Hurco CNC machines.
• Fully skilled, time‑served machinist.
• Experience with CNC lathes controlled by Fanuc.
• Strong understanding of geometrical and dimensional tolerances.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Salary £33‑40k basic, DOE.
