CNC Turner – Late Shift (4‑day week, £37k‑£42k)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a well‑established metal‑components manufacturer on a late‑shift, four‑day week. The role runs Monday‑Thursday, 2:30 pm‑12:30 am, offering a 21 % shift allowance and the chance to train on CNC programming.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate Victor and Fanuc turning centres in a workshop environment.
• Perform quality checks, troubleshoot, and make adjustments to ensure precision of machined components.
• Collaborate with the multi‑axis milling team and follow safe operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner/Setter and Operator, preferably on Victor machines with Fanuc controls.
• Willingness to commute to the workshop in the Newton Aycliffe/Shildon area.
• Desire to develop programming skills and progress within a growing CNC workshop.
