CNC Turner – Precision Engineering (Havant)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a well‑established precision engineering and manufacturing business in Havant. You will program, set up and operate CNC turning machines to produce high‑quality components to tight tolerances, supporting occasional milling work as required.

Key responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC turning machines (Pro Trax and Siemens 828 controls).
• Manufacture precision‑engineered components from engineering drawings.
• Conduct first‑off, in‑process and final inspections using measurement equipment.
• Select, install and change tooling to meet production needs.
• Identify and resolve machining and programming issues.
• Provide support to CNC milling operations when demand arises.

Required profile

• Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling and tolerances.
• Experience using inspection and measuring equipment.
• Based within a commutable distance of Havant.

What we offer

• £18.00‑£20.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
