CNC Turner / Programmer – CAD/CAM Training & Progression

About the role

We are seeking a CNC Turner with programming experience to join a specialist workshop in Gloucester. The role offers full CAD/CAM training and a clear path towards supervisory and managerial responsibilities, all within a supportive, days‑based shift pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Produce precision components for specialist applications using CNC turning and milling equipment.
• Program CNC machines, primarily FANUC‑controlled, to meet production specifications.
• Utilise CAD/CAM software to create and optimise machining programmes.
• Support the workshop as the primary technical point of contact.
• Progress to supervisory duties and eventually workshop management.

Required profile

• Experience as a CNC Turner, Miller, Setter or Operator with some programming capability.
• Motivation to develop technical expertise through formal CAD/CAM training.
• Commitment to a long‑term career within a niche manufacturing environment.
