CNC Turner – Programmer/Setter/Operator (Mazak)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turner who can program, set up and operate CNC lathes in a low‑volume aerospace environment. You will work on unique, high‑precision components made from exotic materials, ensuring each part meets strict tolerances.

Key responsibilities

• Set, prove out and operate CNC lathes using Mazak and Fanuc controls.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings to develop machining strategies.
• Machine low‑volume, high‑precision aerospace parts from exotic alloys.
• Perform basic inspection to verify component conformity.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a high‑precision, low‑volume setting.
• Ability to work from complex technical drawings with minimal supervision.
• Confidence in setting offsets, programming, and basic inspection.
• Familiarity with Mazatrol and preferably Fanuc control systems.
• Experience with live tooling and aerospace machining is desirable.
