CNC Turner / Setter Operator (Fanuc Controls)

About the role

We are a well‑established precision engineering company in Fareham looking for an experienced CNC Turner / Setter Operator. You will join a busy manufacturing team that supplies high‑quality components to aerospace, marine, construction and medical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes equipped with Fanuc controls.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce components to tight tolerances.
• Carry out in‑process inspections using calibrated measuring equipment.
• Maintain consistent quality standards throughout production runs.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and efficient workflow.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner / Setter Operator.
• Good knowledge of Fanuc control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Track record of working to tight tolerances and high‑quality standards.
• Proactive, reliable and detail‑oriented work approach.
