CNC Turner – Setter/Operator (Full‑time, Basildon)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join an established engineering firm in Basildon. You will work on large‑scale components, primarily machining aluminium and stainless steel, using Fanuc‑controlled equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning machines
• Change tooling and ensure correct machine parameters
• Inspect finished components for quality and dimensional accuracy
• Machine aluminium and stainless‑steel parts
• Operate related milling machines as required

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Minimum 3 years experience in CNC turning, setting and operating
• Proven experience with Fanuc controls
• Background in automotive, aerospace or defence industries
