CNC Turner / Workshop Technician – Petersfield

About the role

A forward‑thinking engineering company is seeking a CNC Turner / Workshop Technician to support its modern workshop in Petersfield. You will program and operate CNC lathes, including machines with live tooling, to produce high‑precision components for specialist and scientific customers.

Key responsibilities

• Program and operate CNC turning centres, including Mazatrol‑controlled machines.
• Produce high‑tolerance components from a variety of metals and plastics.
• Maintain tight tolerances and adhere to high‑quality standards.
• Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe.
• Assist with milling and wire EDM operations as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner.
• Strong Mazatrol programming skills (essential).
• Experience with live tooling (desirable).
• Ability to work accurately at speed.
• Experience machining both metals and plastics.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Good organisational skills within a workshop environment.

What we offer

• 37.5‑hour week with shift options (13:30‑22:15 Mon‑Thu, 13:30‑18:00 Fri or 06:00‑14:00 Mon‑Fri).
• 5 weeks' annual leave.
