CNC Turner/Miller/Operator – Training on Programming

About the role

Join a family‑run engineering company with over 40 years of experience delivering high‑precision components for Defence, Nuclear and Marine sectors. The position offers hands‑on work with state‑of‑the‑art CNC equipment and a structured training programme to develop programming skills.

Key responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines.
• Manufacture precision components for nuclear, defence, marine and oil industries.
• Participate in both internal and external training on a variety of CNC machines and software.
• Maintain quality standards and adhere to health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Apprenticeship‑trained CNC background or at least 1 year of machining experience.
• Motivation to progress into CNC programming.
• Willingness to work Monday‑Thursday 07:30‑17:00 and Friday 07:30‑12:30.
