CNC Turner/Programmer – Marine & Defence Projects

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner/Programmer to join a fast‑growing precision engineering company based in Paignton. The role involves working on high‑precision components for marine, electronics and defence customers, offering a chance to develop your technical expertise in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain CNC milling and turning machines.
• Produce precision components to strict tolerances.
• Create, edit and optimise CNC programmes using the company’s CAM software.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure health & safety compliance.

Required profile

• Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in CNC machining.
• Proven experience with CNC machine controls and programming.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Willingness to undertake in‑house CAM training.
