CNC Turning Team Leader

About the role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Turning Team Leader to join a market‑leading precision engineering company in Woking. You will lead a skilled machining team while staying hands‑on with cutting‑edge CNC technology, supporting production, programming and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of CNC turners, setters and operators to meet production targets.
- Support CNC programming, setting and machining of precision components using Mazatrol controls.
- Coordinate production schedules, machine utilisation and departmental performance.
- Drive continuous improvement, quality standards and process optimisation across the machine shop.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality and Production on new and existing projects.
Required profile
- Proven experience in CNC turning, programming and setting within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience supervising or leading a machining or production team.
- Strong knowledge of Mazatrol controls and CNC machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Motivation for training, development and long‑term career progression.
