Collections Account Manager

About the role

Fintelligent is a fast‑growing specialist property finance lender seeking a Collections Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of customer accounts. You will work autonomously, building trusted relationships while helping customers find practical solutions that protect the business’s commercial interests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts from initial contact through to resolution.
• Assess arrears, recommend commercially appropriate solutions and balance customer outcomes with business objectives.
• Develop strong relationships with customers and third‑party suppliers to achieve prompt resolutions.
• Progressively handle more complex accounts, including receivership, as experience develops.

Required profile

• Previous experience in collections, account management, client relationship management or a similar role.
• Strong IT skills and GCSE‑level English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent service.

What we offer

• Salary between £28,000 and £32,000 per annum.
• 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after one year.
