Collections Advisor – Support Customers in Financial Difficulty

About the role

The Collections Advisor will work within a specialist finance business to help customers who are experiencing financial difficulty. You will identify sustainable payment solutions and negotiate arrangements that protect both the customer and the company. The role offers autonomy over a caseload and the chance to influence process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Support customers in financial difficulty by identifying appropriate, sustainable payment solutions.
• Agree and document payment arrangements, collaborating with specialist teams to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions in line with company processes and regulatory standards.
• Identify potential risks and contribute recommendations for process enhancements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in payment support, collections, or recoveries.
• Understanding of collections processes, customer support strategies, and basic financial principles.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and communicate effectively across multiple channels.

• Salary between £28,000 and £30,000 per annum.
