Collections Executive - German Speaking

About the role

Youlend is seeking a results‑oriented Collections Executive with native or near‑native German fluency to join its multi‑geo Collections and Recoveries team. The role will serve as the primary point of contact for the German portfolio while also supporting the UK sector, ensuring timely payments and maintaining the professional relationships Youlend is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Manage collections and recoveries for high‑value accounts in arrears, applying a customer‑contact strategy and account‑management experience.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, and draft letters and emails with high accuracy and care.
• Build positive relationships with merchants to understand their circumstances and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions.
• Input data accurately across multiple systems and maintain detailed case records.
• Collaborate with the team, contributing to a supportive, results‑driven environment.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
• Active listening and persuasive negotiation abilities.
• Technical and analytical aptitude with a focus on data accuracy.
• Conflict‑resolution capability and basic financial literacy.
• Previous experience in collections, account management or customer management is desirable.
