Collections Officer – Field Based (Berkshire)

About the role

This field‑based Collections Officer role supports a pharmaceutical and healthcare partner by conducting drug and alcohol testing at client sites across Berkshire and the South East. The position is casual and ad‑hoc, offering flexible standby shifts rather than guaranteed hours.

Key responsibilities

• Visit client sites to conduct drug and alcohol testing for employees in safety‑critical environments such as factories, airports and manufacturing facilities.
• Provide on‑call standby coverage three weekdays and two weekends per month, with 12‑ or 24‑hour standby periods.
• Perform pre‑booked out‑of‑hours visits and respond to call‑outs at any time, including nights.
• Maintain accurate testing records and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Ability to travel up to 50 miles (up to two hours) to client sites.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Customer‑facing experience and good communication.
• Availability for three weekdays and two weekends per month on standby.
