Commercial Account Executive – Insurance Sales

About the role

We are seeking a driven Commercial Account Executive to join a well‑established insurance brokerage in Bath. The role focuses on managing and growing a portfolio of B2B insurance clients, delivering tailored risk solutions and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with commercial clients as their primary point of contact.
• Prospect new business through networking, warm leads and market research to meet sales targets.
• Manage an existing portfolio, identifying up‑sell and cross‑sell opportunities to maximise revenue and retention.
• Conduct consultative meetings to understand client objectives and propose appropriate insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with underwriting and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in personal or commercial insurance, or a strong B2B sales background.
• GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• Self‑starter with ambition to progress within the local market.

Required skills

• Proven track record in a target‑driven sales environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
