Commercial Account Executive

About the role

This position offers a client‑facing opportunity to inherit a well‑maintained portfolio of commercial insurance clients across Devon and the M5 corridor. You will work within a respected brokerage, building deep relationships rather than cold‑calling new leads.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing book of cross‑class commercial insurance clients.
• Develop strong, long‑term relationships by meeting clients on site and understanding their businesses.
• Leverage introducer networks and affinity partnerships to generate new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored risk solutions.

Required profile

• Confident insurance professional with commercial knowledge across multiple classes.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
• Passion for client service and a drive to build long‑term relationships.
• Ambition to progress from an account handler to an executive role.
