Commercial Account Handler – Insurance Brokerage

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a growing insurance brokerage near Bolton. You will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, delivering high-quality service across new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial clients with premiums typically £5,000‑£25,000 (some up to £200,000).
• Prepare and process quotes, renewals and policy adjustments for Commercial Combined, Property, Liability and Motor products.
• Maintain accurate client records in Acturis and liaise with insurers to negotiate terms and resolve queries.
• Identify opportunities to enhance cover and propose additional solutions.
• Provide claims support and ensure ongoing client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler within the insurance sector.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products across multiple classes.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and customer-focused approach.
• Organised, able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a team.

• Acturis insurance software.
