Commercial Account Handler – Insurance Brokerage

About the role

We are an ambitious independent commercial insurance brokerage experiencing rapid growth. We are looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join our friendly team of six in Billericay, supporting SME clients and contributing to our expanding portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME/commercial insurance clients.
• Deal directly with clients and insurers to negotiate and renew policies.
• Process mid‑term adjustments and commercial insurance renewals.
• Provide ongoing client servicing and maintain strong relationships.
• Deliver an organised, professional service to all clients.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in commercial insurance.
• Good understanding of the commercial insurance market and product lines.
• Comfortable communicating directly with clients and insurers.
• Strong communication, organisational skills and a positive, ambitious attitude.
• Desire to develop within a growing brokerage.

• Competitive salary up to £30,000, dependent on experience.
