Commercial Account Handler – Insurance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join our Bristol team. The role focuses on managing a renewal‑led portfolio of small and mid‑size commercial insurance cases, ensuring clients receive appropriate cover and excellent service throughout the policy lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a regular renewal portfolio, building lasting client relationships.
• Review client documentation and risk details for accuracy.
• Prepare market presentations and professional insurer submissions.
• Respond to client queries, process mid‑term changes and resolve issues.
• Communicate risk information to insurers and obtain suitable terms.
• Maintain compliant records and a clear audit trail in internal systems.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities aligned with client needs.

Required profile

• Experienced commercial insurance professional with a focus on renewals.
• Strong client‑service orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with insurers and internal colleagues.
