Commercial Business Development Manager

About the role

A fast‑growing technology solutions provider is looking for a high‑performing Commercial Business Development Manager to drive new business acquisition across the SMB and commercial market in London. This hunter role manages the full sales cycle, converts SDR‑generated opportunities and builds a proactive pipeline through relationship‑led selling.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process from discovery to close, converting inbound leads into revenue.
• Generate and nurture your own pipeline through outbound outreach and consultative selling.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales and technical teams to design and deliver tailored cloud, infrastructure, security and managed‑services solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals with organisations of 50–1,000 users across various industries.

Required profile

• Proven new‑business sales experience within MSP, VAR or IT services.
• Strong track record of closing outbound opportunities.
• Experience selling to organisations with 50–1,000 users.
• Consultative sales approach with excellent negotiation skills.
• Understanding of cloud, infrastructure, networking and managed‑services technologies.
• Experience with CRM and sales tooling (Salesforce desirable).
