Commercial Catering Engineer

About the role

We are expanding our commercial catering service across London and need a dedicated engineer to deliver service and maintenance on a variety of kitchen equipment. The role offers early starts to avoid traffic and a balanced work‑life schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service and maintenance on commercial catering equipment, both gas and electrical.
• Work on combi ovens, grills, burners, fryers, dishwashers and other kitchen appliances.
• Serve a diverse client base including schools, restaurants, hotels and retail locations across London and the M25 area.
• Start work at 5 am and finish by 2 pm, ensuring early‑morning coverage.

Required profile

• Hold a valid COMCAT gas certification.
• Reside in north‑west London, Middlesex or surrounding London areas.
• Proven experience with gas‑fired and electrical catering equipment.
• Willingness to work early mornings.

Required skills

• COMCAT gas certification.
• Maintenance of gas‑fired catering equipment.
• Maintenance of electrical catering equipment.
• LPG handling (beneficial).
• Refrigeration experience (beneficial).

What we offer

• Basic salary £40‑45k plus realistic OTE up to £55‑60k.
• Door‑to‑door travel allowance.
• 22 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
• Overtime paid 1.5× after 2 pm and 2× after 5 pm/weekends.
