Commercial Catering Engineer – Service & Maintenance

About the role

This position is with a family‑run commercial catering company that is expanding across London. You will join the team early each day to service and maintain a wide range of catering equipment, giving you more free time in the evenings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service and maintenance on commercial catering equipment, both gas and electrical.
• Work on combi ovens, grills, burners, fryers, dishwashers and other kitchen appliances.
• Serve a diverse client base including schools, restaurants, hotels and retail outlets across London and the M25 area.
• Start shifts at 5 am and finish by 2 pm, helping staff avoid peak traffic.

Required profile

• Reside in north‑west London, Middlesex, or nearby north/west/east London areas.
• Demonstrated experience with gas‑fired and electrical catering equipment.
• LPG or refrigeration experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Comfortable with early‑morning start times.

Required skills

• COMCAT gas certification.
• Proficiency with gas‑fired catering equipment.
• Proficiency with electrical catering equipment.
• Knowledge of LPG handling.
• Basic understanding of refrigeration systems.

• Basic salary £40‑45k plus realistic OTE of £55‑60k.
