Commercial Chiller Engineer

About the role

This is a hands‑on field service role involving the installation, servicing, repair and maintenance of temporary chiller units at customer sites. You will attend planned installations and service visits, respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and restore equipment quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair and maintain temporary commercial chiller units on‑site.
• Attend planned installations and service visits, and respond to breakdowns with rapid fault diagnosis.
• Assist with boiler installations during the winter season and install air‑conditioning units when required.
• Maintain van stock, order parts and ensure equipment and stores are ready for upcoming jobs.
• Contribute to the development of new products and improvements to service operations.
• Uphold high standards of health, safety and regulatory compliance at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working on commercial chillers.
• Current F‑Gas qualification.
• Full UK driving licence and CSCS card.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication, organisational skills and the confidence to work independently on customer sites.
• Methodical approach, solid IT skills and up‑to‑date health‑and‑safety knowledge.
• Flexible, reliable, customer‑focused and able to work as part of a wider service team.
