Commercial Contracts Paralegal (3‑month contract)

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Contracts Paralegal to join their in‑house legal team for a three‑month assignment starting in August. You will be a key part of the day‑to‑day legal operation, triaging queries and managing a high volume of commercial contracts to keep the business moving.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and process all legal queries, contracts and matters through a shared legal inbox, ensuring visibility and continuity for the wider team.
• Support the commercial team with contract and bid preparation, including contractor/worker appointments, client terms and conditions, and general contracting queries.
• Manage a small portfolio of small‑claims‑type litigation matters, track case status, keep internal stakeholders informed and follow up for instructions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an in‑house legal environment, preferably within recruitment or professional services.
• Proven ability to handle a high volume of commercial contracts efficiently.
• Strong independent prioritisation skills and excellent stakeholder management.
• Pragmatic, solutions‑oriented and commercially aware.
• Availability to work four days a week across a five‑day schedule and attend the London office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
