Commercial & Corporate Account Executive

About the role

Join a respected national brokerage in Brighton and take ownership of an existing portfolio of SME and mid‑market commercial insurance clients. You will act as a trusted adviser, retain existing business and actively grow the book through cross‑selling and new business development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop an inherited portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Deliver renewals, mid‑term adjustments and day‑to‑day client servicing.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities within the existing book.
• Proactively generate new business through networking, referrals and leads.
• Collaborate with internal broking and support teams to provide seamless service.
• Build long‑term, trusted relationships with clients and insurers.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Commercial Account Executive or similar client‑facing insurance role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and the UK market.
• Confident in managing renewals and advising clients independently.
• Commercially minded with a genuine interest in business development.
• ACII qualification or progress towards it is advantageous but not essential.
