Commercial Data & Systems Analyst (Finance Systems Manager)

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Data & Systems Analyst to own and evolve our finance systems, reporting environment and commercial data across a fast‑growing, private‑equity backed professional services firm.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve finance systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365, IRIS, Xero) and the Power BI reporting environment.
• Design, build and maintain integrations between systems using APIs, middleware or native connectors.
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and data models that deliver commercial and financial insight.
• Troubleshoot reporting, reconciliation and data‑quality issues, implementing permanent fixes.
• Collaborate with software vendors to enhance functionality and challenge proposed solutions.
• Support group reporting, budgeting, forecasting and KPI development for senior leadership.
• Drive business‑process automation and smarter use of existing systems.
• Assist with systems integration and reporting for future acquisitions.

Required profile

• Experience within an accountancy practice, legal firm, consulting business or similar professional‑services organisation.
• Hands‑on experience managing finance systems, reporting and data quality.
• Proven ability to work closely with senior stakeholders (COO, CFO, Head of Sales).
