Commercial Director – Renewable Energy

About the role

This senior commercial position will be based in Glasgow and will lead the growth of the Renewables division. You will work closely with the CEO to shape strategy, influence key decisions and drive revenue across wind and solar projects. The role offers a high degree of autonomy and the chance to make a tangible impact on the company’s future.

Key responsibilities

• Own the commercial direction of the Renewables division, expanding its presence in the wind energy market.
• Provide commercial leadership across the full project lifecycle – from site identification and appraisal to contract negotiation, delivery and long‑term revenue generation.
• Monitor market trends, energy pricing and regulatory developments to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, particularly the CEO, to shape business strategy and drive organisational growth.
• Represent the company with key stakeholders, clients and partners in the renewables sector.

Required profile

• Proven experience at Director level or senior commercial management within the renewables sector.
• Strong knowledge of wind energy projects; solar experience is a distinct advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Based in or commutable to Glasgow, with willingness to travel to local sites.
