Commercial Field Engineer – Post-sales

About the role

The Commercial Field Engineer’s primary role is to serve as a technical advisor and champion for CodeRabbit customers in the Commercial tier throughout their post‑sales journey. You will lead onboarding, implementation and ongoing success by partnering with Customer Success, Product, Engineering and Support teams to ensure customers realise the full value of CodeRabbit.

Key responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and implementation engagements for commercial and mid‑market customers.
• Configure and optimise CodeRabbit within development workflows and CI/CD environments.
• Deliver trainings, workshops and technical enablement programmes.
• Conduct configuration and integration reviews to ensure best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with Support, Product and Engineering for timely resolutions.
• Serve as technical escalation point for complex adoption challenges.
• Partner with Customer Success Managers to drive adoption and long‑term success.
• Gather customer feedback and collaborate cross‑functionally to improve the product.

Required profile

• 2+ years in a customer‑facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering or Implementation Engineering.
• Experience onboarding or supporting SaaS, developer tooling or infrastructure products.
• Strong knowledge of software development workflows and modern engineering tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.

Required skills

• APIs and integration troubleshooting.
• Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Command‑line proficiency.
• CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins.
• Container orchestration and infrastructure‑as‑code: Kubernetes, Terraform.
