Commercial Finance Analyst – Leeds

About the role

We are partnering with a large FMCG business near Leeds that is looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a growing team. This role offers broad exposure across commercial finance and the chance to work towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification while contributing to key financial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with monthly management accounts, variance analysis and performance reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow modelling activities.
• Prepare financial analysis to aid commercial and strategic decision‑making.
• Develop and improve financial models and KPIs used by management and investors.
• Contribute to projects focused on systems, processes and scalability.
• Collaborate with the sales team and other internal stakeholders on pricing strategy.

Required profile

• Degree in Maths, Accounting, Economics or a numerate discipline (minimum 2:1).
• Relevant experience in a similar finance role is desirable.
• Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail.
• Commercially minded, curious and eager to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment.
