Commercial Finance Business Partner

About the role

Our client, a leading media entertainment organisation based in Hale, is establishing a new Finance Planning & Analysis function. The Commercial Finance Business Partner will join a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial team to drive financial insight, support new investors and help shape the company’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑level cost‑based analysis and produce profitability reports.
• Perform return on equity (ROE) analysis.
• Analyse and report on P&L performance.
• Model business margins and profitability.
• Provide ad‑hoc cost and performance analysis.
• Deliver customer benchmarking analysis and reporting.
• Support senior leaders with financial decision‑making and planning.
• Maintain cost‑trend analysis to identify potential savings.
• Assist the Director in developing strategic action plans to meet financial and business targets.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with strong communication abilities.
• Proven experience in commercial finance, cost analysis and reporting.
• Ability to build relationships across the organisation and influence decision‑making.
• Comfort working in a dynamic, high‑growth environment.

• Salary range £60,000 – £65,000 per year.
