Commercial Finance Controller – UK

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Controller to join a globally recognised consumer goods business in the UK. This senior finance leader will sit at the intersection of finance and commercial strategy, partnering with sales, marketing and brand teams to drive profitability and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full P&L planning cycle – budgeting, forecasting, quarterly Latest Estimate (LE) and long‑range planning, while managing risks and opportunities.
• Own the commercial close process and deliver sharp management reporting and variance analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Act as a strategic finance business partner to sales and marketing, translating data into pricing, trade‑investment and margin‑improvement decisions.
• Drive Revenue Growth Management (RGM) and S&OP improvements to increase forecast accuracy and commercial efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong commercial finance or FP&A background, preferably within FMCG or a fast‑paced multinational environment.
• Confident business partner with the gravitas to challenge and influence senior commercial stakeholders.
• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with a proactive, improvement‑focused mindset.
