Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

Marks Sattin is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join their business services organisation in Chorley. The role operates on a hybrid model and focuses on delivering financial insight that drives profitability and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the business.
• Develop and maintain strategic financial plans and financial models.
• Analyse the financial impact of acquisitions and integrate findings into the budget.
• Identify risks and opportunities and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Build and embed a robust financial planning and analysis function.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Proven experience in a commercially focused finance role.
• Strong ability to interpret large data sets and deliver actionable insights.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills, especially with non‑finance audiences.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
