Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join a leading non‑food sustainable packaging business in North London. The role will act as a trusted finance partner to senior leaders, providing insight and analysis that drives profitable growth and supports strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Purchasing and the Senior Leadership Team to deliver detailed customer profitability analysis.
• Lead pricing reviews in response to market changes, supplier cost shifts and commercial opportunities.
• Support major tender submissions through financial modelling, profitability analysis and commercial recommendations.
• Develop financial models and scenario‑planning tools for strategic decision‑making.
• Produce accurate sales and gross‑margin forecasts to aid business planning.
• Review cost‑to‑serve models and identify opportunities to improve product and customer profitability.
• Provide commercial insight during contract negotiations and manage business risk.
• Monitor slow‑moving inventory to minimise commercial exposure.
• Deliver insightful commercial reporting and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in pricing, forecasting and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent commercial finance experience.
• Proven experience in commercial finance, finance business partnering or financial analysis.
• Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced B2B environment.
