Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Commercial Finance Manager to join a fast‑growing premium consumer brand operating in sports, outdoor equipment and e‑commerce. Based in London with a hybrid working model, you will report directly to the Finance Director and have high‑impact exposure across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes.
• Produce and enhance monthly management reporting for senior leadership.
• Deliver variance analysis, performance commentary and KPI dashboards.
• Support cash‑flow forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Partner with sales to evaluate product profitability, pricing and margin performance.
• Analyse inventory, logistics and warehousing costs with operations and supply‑chain teams.
• Provide headcount analysis, commission tracking and productivity reporting for workforce planning.
• Review and improve finance processes, reporting frameworks and data integrity.
• Drive automation initiatives and explore technology/AI tools to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Qualified finance professional (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Strong analytical ability and commercial awareness.
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting and management reporting.
• Proven business‑partnering skills with sales, operations or supply‑chain functions.
• Ability to challenge stakeholders with data‑driven insights.
