Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a market-leading UK FMCG business to find a Commercial Finance Manager for their Manchester office. In this highly visible position you will act as a finance business partner to senior commercial, marketing and trading teams, influencing trading decisions and supporting growth strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Own the UK P&L, driving budgeting, forecasting and monthly performance reporting.
• Lead financial planning processes and ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
• Analyse revenue, margins and profitability drivers, producing insightful KPI dashboards for senior leadership.
• Develop financial models, scenario planning and business cases to support pricing, promotional and investment decisions.
• Identify risks and opportunities, delivering actionable recommendations in regular performance reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, systems and reporting while supporting junior team members.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified finance professional.
• Proven commercial finance, FP&A or business-partnering experience in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.
• Advanced analytical mindset with a focus on translating data into commercial insight.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Financial modelling and scenario analysis.
